How to Repost a Twitch Clip on TikTok

TikTok is the perfect place to grow your own Twitch channel or share the best moments from your favorite streamer.
Start by finding the Twitch Clip you want to turn into a TikTok video. You can find clips of your favorite streamers by going to their profiles, then scrolling down to Popular Clips, where all clips made from their stress are listed in order of view count. You can also find all the clips you made yourself by clicking your profile picture in the top right, selecting Creator Dashboard, clicking Content in the left menu, then Clips.
Then, paste the link to import your clip into Kapwing. Start with a 9:16 canvas, adding bars above and below your video. To make the most of TikTok’s 9:16 frame, try splitting the video layer into 2 sections, with gameplay (or whatever the streamer is doing) on top, and the streamer view on bottom. How do you get a TikTok stream key?
You must have 1000 followers on TikTok before you will be able to get a TikTok stream key. If you have a stream key, go to TikTok on desktop and click “Go Live”, then “Go Live” again to confirm. TikTok will then display your stream key. You can use this unique sequence of numbers and letters to stream from OBS. In OBS, go to File > Settings > Stream, then copy/paste the server key as a “Custom” service. You’ll also need to change your canvas in OBS (or other streaming services) to 1080x1920.
Your TikTok stream key changes every day, so you need to repeat this process daily to ensure that your stream goes through to TikTok. If this method doesn’t work for you, try networking with a TikTok employee on Twitter or LinkedIn to ask them for help. TikTok employees can look up the stream key for any account.
